About the Role
We are looking for a commercially driven Head of Agency Sales to help scale a fast-growing alternative search and commerce media platform across major agency groups. This is initially a hands-on individual contributor role, with the opportunity to build and lead the agency sales function over time. The ideal candidate deeply understands how search and PPC budgets move inside HoldCo’s, how agency search teams operate day to day, and what it takes to introduce a new performance channel into existing client plans. This role requires someone who can open strategic agency relationships, secure test budgets, and drive adoption with Search and Performance teams, while also speaking credibly about attribution, search mechanics, incrementality, and campaign execution.
What You’ll Do
- Secure test budgets and drive adoption within agency Search and Performance teams.
- Work directly with PPC/Search teams to drive adoption and remove operational friction.
- Recruit, hire, and help build a high-performing agency sales team as the business scales.
- Position our platform as a managed-service alternative that helps agencies drive incremental performance beyond traditional search.
- Navigate complex internal agency structures and budget ownership models.
- Drive commercial negotiations, pilot programs, and long-term agency partnerships.
- Help shape the GTM strategy, sales process, hiring plan, and future agency team structure.
- Work closely with product, operations, and leadership teams to improve agency adoption.
Required Experience
- Experience working within a major agency HoldCo or selling into HoldCo Search and Performance teams is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of hitting revenue targets and selling performance products.
- Experience selling into agency environments and navigating complex HoldCo structures.
- Comfortable operating in a highly commercial, target-driven sales environment.
- Strong understanding of paid search, attribution, performance measurement, incrementality and agency budget structures
- Strong existing relationships across UK agency groups.
Ideal Profile
We are specifically looking for a commercially driven salesperson who understands search and performance media, not simply a technical practitioner. The ideal candidate is comfortable carrying a revenue target, opening strategic relationships, and selling new performance solutions into complex agency environments.
They should have strong existing relationships across major HoldCo’s and independent agencies, with a proven ability to navigate agency structures, secure access to key decision-makers, and unlock budget from Search and Performance teams.
The right candidate will be equally comfortable sitting with PPC specialists discussingattributionand search mechanics, while also influencing senior agency stakeholders commercially and strategically.
